It’s a full novel written for adult readers, so expect unfamiliar language. You’re allowed to pause, reread, and ask questions.

A few good questions.

Do I need to understand every word?

No. Aim to follow the story and bring your ideas to the conversation. You can look up useful words without translating every sentence.

Is the book in English or Spanish?

This club reads the Spanish edition of Emily Henry’s People We Meet on Vacation, titled Gente que conocemos en vacaciones. Our live discussions are in Spanish too.

Is the book included in the $99?

Yes, digital access to the book is included. A physical copy or a particular edition is not included; you can buy one separately if you prefer.

Will we read together during the sessions?

Most of the reading happens at home, following our reading plan. During some sessions, we may also read a passage together. Our live meetings focus mainly on guided conversations about the story.

How long is each meeting?

The November 3, November 17, and December 1 meetings last one hour. The final meeting on December 15 lasts 90 minutes. That’s 4.5 hours of live sessions altogether.

Can I join from outside Miami?

Yes. The club is online. Every meeting starts at 7 PM Miami time (EST, UTC−5), so check how that translates to your time zone.
